A Twist on Trunk-or-Treat

Alumni Bros. volunteered at the Gary Road Church for a twist on Trunk-or-Treat during the pandemic. Bros. handed out food box meals to families in need and treats for the children.

Event details:

Bros. Dr. Jeremy Flowers and Gerald Smith distributed candy to the children in the surrounding community and from across Greater Cincinnati. Cincinnati Amicae Monai Smith coordinated the event with volunteers. Volunteers arrived with cars parked in a ‘U’ figure in two parking lots; they opened their trunks to distribute candy to children in cars that arrived. Volunteers distributed candy adhering to Covid-19 safety protocols. The event started at 3pm and ran until 5pm EST. Volunteers included members of the Gray road Church of Christ, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and Cincinnati Amicae BZZ chapter.
